Self-Realization Fellowship on the Air

The tranquil meditation gardens at the SRF Encinitas Retreat and Hermitage, and at our Lake Shrine sanctuary, are the subject of several television shows airing this month.

KCAL/KCBS in Los Angeles featured the Lake Shrine in its July 12 episode of the show In the Garden. Brother Atmananda and Brahmachari Thomas take the show’s host, Ann Martin, on a tour of the Lake Shrine’s unusual flora and plant life, and discuss its interesting history. You can watch the interview as well as last year’s segment on the Mother Center gardens on the KCAL/KCBS website.

Lake Shrine is also featured in an upcoming episode of KNBC’s lifestyle show Your LA. Brother Keshavananda conducts a tour of the gardens and other features of the Lake, and talks about the benefits of meditation. The segment is scheduled to air Tuesday, July 17 at 3 p.m. or you can also view the episode on the KNBC website.

KPBS San Diego recently visited our Encinitas Retreat and Hermitage to film the grounds for a segment on Meditation Gardens. Brother Ramananda was on hand to answer questions about the history of the gardens. The interview and tour were featured on the KPBS program San Diego Treasures.
