Take the Pasadena Freeway No. 110 to the Avenue 43 exit. Turn left onto Avenue 43, then turn right at North Figueroa Street. Turn left at Avenue 45, and left again onto Marmion Way. At Avenue 42, turn right. Going uphill, make a sharp right turn at Glenmuir Avenue, which becomes Canyon Vista Drive. Continue uphill to San Rafael Avenue, turn right, proceed half a block, and turn right again, into entrance of Self-Realization Fellowship Mother Center.

Take the Pasadena Freeway No. 110 to the Avenue 52 exit. Turn left onto Avenue 52, then turn left onto Figueroa Street. Turn right at Avenue 50, and then left onto San Rafael Avenue. Proceed uphill on San Rafael Avenue one and one-half miles to the Mother Center.

Drive two and one-half miles on Broadway north to Pasadena Avenue (just across the Los Angeles River bridge). Make a diagonal left turn onto Pasadena Avenue. Proceed to third stoplight. Turn left to stay on Pasadena Avenue. Take a diagonal left turn onto Marmion Way (crossing railroad tracks and Figueroa Street). At Avenue 42, turn left, and proceed as indicated in "Directions for reaching by freeway from downtown Los Angeles" above.

Because of frequent changes in bus lines and bus routes, we suggest you call the public transportation companies for the latest information on the route you plan to take. You should inquire about a route that will take you to Avenue 45 and Marmion Way. After disembarking at that stop, turn right and walk one-half block across the railroad tracks to the nearby supermarket. From the pay telephone there, call the Mother Center (225-2471) and notify the operator of your arrival. A car will be sent to bring you up the hill, as there is no public transportation serving Mt. Washington.

Take the Golden State Freeway No. 5 south to the Pasadena Freeway No. 110 (north towards Pasadena). Proceed on the Pasadena Freeway to Avenue 43 exit. From this point follow the directions "By freeway from downtown Los Angeles" above.

Take the Ventura Freeway No. 134 east to the Golden State Freeway No. 5. Take No. 5 south to the Pasadena Freeway No. 110 (north towards Pasadena). Proceed on the Pasadena Freeway to Avenue 43 exit. From this point follow "Directions for reaching by freeway from downtown Los Angeles" above.

Take the Ventura Freeway No. 134 to the Glendale Freeway No. 2 south. Take the Verdugo Road exit and turn left onto Verdugo Road, then left onto Eagle Rock Boulevard. Turn right at El Paso Drive, then right onto Cleland Avenue, then left at Terrace 49. Make a sharp right turn onto San Rafael Avenue. Proceed uphill on San Rafael Avenue one and one-half miles to the Mother Center.

Self-Realization Fellowship is not able to provide transportation services to and from the temples and ashram centers, or between transportation terminals and hotels/motels. However, as mentioned above, visitors who travel by bus to reach SRF headquarters will be picked up by car at Avenue 45 and Marmion Way.
