DIRECTIONS

Directions via public transportation

Our chapel is within a short walking distance of Central Station on the first floor of a building named 'Glass House'. If traveling by train, take the Devonshire Street or the Elizabeth Street exit, turn right onto Elizabeth heading south, then left onto Cooper.

If traveling by bus, from the bus terminals on Eddy Avenue head east, turn right onto Elizabeth Street, and then take the third left onto Cooper Street.

Traveling by car

Make sure you access Elizabeth Street near Eddy Avenue (Central Railway overpass) then, traveling south, turn left onto Cooper Street after passing Foveaux and Kippax Streets.

Parking

It is generally not difficult to find a parking spot on or around Cooper Street, but most spots are ticketed ($1.10 per hour after hours). There are some loading zones on side streets, and in the lanes behind the chapel that become free parking spots at the end of business hours.

Traveling from the north via Western Distributor

From Harbour Bridge follow exits for Liverpool, turn left on Harris Street and continue to George Street. Turn left onto George Street, move into the right lane to veer right onto Pitt Street, then take the first right onto Eddy Avenue, right onto Elizabeth Street, and take the third left onto Cooper Street.

Traveling from the north via Cahill Expressway

From Harbour Bridge take the Macquarie Street exit, and when you reach Hyde Park turn right, and then take the first left onto Elizabeth, and follow it down past Eddy Avenue, taking the third left onto Cooper Street. (This route and other routes through the CBD are not recommended during peak traffic hours.)

Traveling from the northwest via Victoria Road

Turn left at the end of Victoria onto Western Distributor, take the Harris Street exit, and turn right onto Harris Street, and continue to George Street. Turn left onto George Street, move into the right lane to veer right onto Pitt Street, then make the first right onto Eddy Avenue, and then right onto Elizabeth Street, and take the third left onto Cooper Street.

Traveling from the west

Parramatta Road becomes Broadway, then George Street. At the Harris Street intersection, move to the right-hand lane and veer right onto Pitt Street, then make the first right onto Eddy Avenue, then right again onto Elizabeth Street, and then take the third left onto Cooper Street.

Traveling from the south via Eastern Distributor

Elizabeth Street is one-way, so from Eastern Distributor/South Dowling Street, turn left onto Cleveland Street, right onto Crown, then left onto Devonshire Street. Turn right onto Holt Street, then left onto Cooper Street.

Traveling from the east

Follow Moore Park Road/Fitzroy Street/Foveaux Street to access Elizabeth Street. Turn left onto Elizabeth Street, then take the third left onto Cooper Street.
